A call-out

Students for Life went batshit last week and they paraded their idiocy around in full force. They brought in speaker Georgette Forney (from the religious "Silent No More" Awareness Campaign); they had the creepy-ass "Pro-Life Mobile" drive into Clarion (it is a freakin' moving truck with some guy in a white shirt and khakis who ushers you inside to make you watch propaganda fetus videos. There is a picture on the side of a girl with a URL - pregnantandscared.com); they had their usual springtime EMBRYO GRAVEYARD replete with EASTER-COLORED CROSSES, and of course... they set up their little table in the student center with more woman-as-vessel propaganda and a medically-inaccurate fetal development display. STAY CLASSY, STUDENTS FOR LIFE!

So, I decided it was about time to call them out on their new level of Crazy. I wrote a letter to The Clarion Call and I hope someone will decide to respond. Then again, it's apparent to me that these people are so afraid of dissenting opinions and having their narrow-minded beliefs challenged that they can't even handle a little silent protest without freaking out and trying to shut me down. So, why should I ever expect that they would be able to handle a debate? Wishful thinking on my part, I suppose. In any case, I'll update if I receive anything interesting.

In other news, the one pro-life commenter on my blog (Hi, Gina) still hasn't responded to her opportunity to debate with me (by answering a few of the same questions that I submitted to The Call). Big surprise there... sigh
